Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers an engaging opportunity in a 23-bed unit specializing in Medical-Surgical and Orthopedic procedures. You will be working 12-hour day shifts, floating between general Med-Surg and ortho surgical units, with a typical ratio of 1:6, and occasionally 1:7. The role involves providing support and coverage for a diverse patient population, including some COVID-19 cases requiring a ratio of 1:3 to 1:4. Flexibility is valued, and the team appreciates travelers who bring a positive attitude and adaptability. Managers are known for treating travelers as part of the team and are willing to accommodate scheduling needs when possible. Prior travel experience is highly preferred for this assignment, which encourages a proactive and collaborative approach to your work.
