Job Description:

Join a reputable short-term acute care facility as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract. This role involves 3x12-hour night shifts, running from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, where you'll be essential in providing comprehensive nursing care in a Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds. Expect to float as needed and work every other weekend, with charting done via Epic. A minimum of two years of medical-surgical experience and current BLS certification are required. This assignment offers a chance to experience the fast-paced environment of a busy trauma center while enjoying the support of the Yale New Haven Health System, including access to free parking. Your hands-on expertise will help ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care during overnight hours, making this a truly impactful nursing journey.
