Job Description:

This cardio thoracic ICU registered nurse role offers a focused experience caring for patients recovering from complex heart surgeries, such as open hearts, CABG, and aortic aneurysm repairs. You'll be managing postoperative cases with specialized equipment like ECMO, Impella, and IABP, often working during night shifts that run 12 hours from evening to early morning. The assignment provides a unique opportunity to sharpen critical skills in a Level I Trauma and teaching hospital environment, with the added challenge and reward of floating within ICU, PCU, ED, and PACU as needed. Expect a fast-paced setting where your expertise in handling advanced cardiac procedures and postoperative care will be highly valued, all while working within a team committed to high standards of patient safety and recovery.
