Job Description:

This contract position places you in a swift-paced ED Holding Support unit within the emergency department, where you'll be managing adult medical and surgical patients awaiting inpatient beds. Your responsibilities include monitoring telemetry, interpreting dysrhythmias, and providing care for various diagnoses such as renal failure, blood product administration, and chest tube management. You will float between MedSurg, ED, and PCU areas, ensuring seamless patient care delivery while utilizing your skills in airway management, IV insertion, and emergency protocols. This role offers a unique experience in a high-acuity setting, with a focus on efficiently supporting patients during their transition in the hospital.
