Job Description:

This contract opportunity places you in a 36-bed Progressive Care Unit located at a bustling medical facility in Charlotte. You’ll be managing patients with conditions such as COPD, heart failure, arrhythmias, renal failure, and sepsis, among others. The role involves caring for trached and ventilated patients, monitoring cardiac rhythms, performing wound care, administering blood products, and managing titratable IV drips. It’s a hands-on position that requires attention to detail and confidence with specialized equipment like chest tubes and tracheostomies. The shift is 12 hours during the day, offering a balanced schedule for exploring the city or relaxing during your time off. This assignment combines clinical expertise with a collaborative team approach, supported by virtual nursing, specialists, and various support staff, all working together to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
