Job Description:

Join a well-respected hospital in Dixon for a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts in the MedSurg unit. This role offers an engaging opportunity for experienced medical-surgical nurses to handle a variety of cases, including NSTEMI, COPD, PNA, Sepsis, and AKI, with most patients requiring close monitoring and care. You'll be a key team player on a 23-bed unit on the 4th floor, working alongside PCTs and RTs, and will be responsible for signing off on strips and overseeing patient stability during your shift. The assignment includes a professional orientation, and flexible scrub colors are acceptable. This position emphasizes collaboration with a charge nurse and house supervisor, providing an enriching environment for nursing professionals seeking steady, impactful work without floating outside MedSurg unless experienced in ICU, ER, or BHC settings.
