Job Description:

Join a dedicated medical surgical team on a 13-week contract in Lincoln, NE, where you'll work 12-hour night shifts caring for patients with a variety of medical, surgical, and orthopedic needs. This role involves managing patient care in a 42-bed unit with a focus on maintaining patient safety and comfort under the supervision of a charge nurse. The unit operates with a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:5 to 6, ensuring manageable caseloads. You'll work alongside nurse aides and patient care techs in a supportive environment that values attention to detail and teamwork. Expect to utilize telemetry systems and perform assessments necessary for effective patient management. This assignment provides an excellent opportunity to deepen your clinical skills within a structured setting, all while experiencing the local community.
