Job Description:

Join a dedicated CVICU team in Dayton for an engaging travel nursing assignment that offers a mix of challenging cases and the opportunity to refine specialized skills. In this role, you'll manage Level 1 Trauma patients, working with advanced equipment such as A-Lines, ventilators, drips, sheaths, and dialysis. You'll interpret EKG strips, draw ABGs, and handle complex cardiovascular interventions. This 12-hour night shift provides an immersive experience in a fast-paced ICU setting, with a focus on maintaining targeted patient ratios of 1:2. The assignment offers flexibility for first-time travelers and does not require Ohio licensure at signing, making it a smooth entry into this rewarding specialty. Expect to be an integral part of the nursing team, floating within various ICU units as needed, and supporting patient stability through expert monitoring and bedside procedures.
