Job Description:

This MedSurg/Telemetry RN contract offers a hands-on opportunity in a busy teaching hospital located at 777 Hemlock Street in Macon, Georgia. You'll be managing a variety of inpatient cases, including acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, infections, and electrolyte imbalances. Your role involves administering IV drips like insulin, heparin, and Cardizem, managing chest tubes, and interpreting cardiac rhythms within a central telemetry setting. The job provides a unique chance to refine your assessment skills while working 12-hour day shifts, with some night shifts and scheduled weekends. Expect to be an integral part of a team that cares for patients across diverse diagnoses, from post-surgical to cardiac issues, in a hospital with a Level 1 Trauma designation and multiple specialized centers. This assignment is ideal for experienced med-surg RNs looking to expand their skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
