Job Description:

This contract position involves working within a surgical CVOR unit, focusing exclusively on adult cardiac procedures such as CABG, AAA repairs, valve replacements, TAVRs, and heart and lung transplants. The role demands circulating and scrub experience with proficiency in managing Foley catheters, chest tubes, AEDs, and robotic systems like DaVinci D5 (preferred but not required). You’ll collaborate with a small team including management, one RN, and one tech per case, supporting a variety of complex cardiac surgeries. Expect a schedule of 12-hour day shifts, with orientation and possibly floating to vascular ORs. Day-to-day, you'll operate advanced equipment including Cerner EMR, Plum ICU Medical IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensers, and OR-specific tools such as Bovie and harmonic scalpels. This assignment offers a hands-on experience with advanced cardiac surgical procedures and equipment, in a setting where teamwork and technical skill are key.
