Job Description:

Join a dedicated team on a busy cardiac and cardiothoracic unit in Cheyenne, Wyoming, for an engaging travel nursing contract. This role focuses on caring for patients undergoing pre- and post-procedural care, including stents, pacemakers, ICDs, CABGs, and vascular surgeries. The shift consists of 12-hour days, offering a chance to experience the rhythm of a high-acuity surgical unit with a mix of high-tech equipment like bipap, CPAP, and ventilators. You'll be expected to handle patients requiring complex post-op recovery and assist with titrating certain drips, all while working alongside experienced RN staff and monitor techs. With a mix of both routine and urgent situations, this assignment offers the opportunity to refine your cardiac care skills in a fast-paced setting that values expertise and teamwork.
