Job Description:

Join a dedicated team at the Needham Cancer Center as a Nurse Coordinator supporting outpatient oncology care. In this role, you'll assist medical oncology physicians and nurse practitioners in guiding patients through their cancer journey. Your responsibilities include coordinating treatments, managing referrals to specialists, performing telephone triage, obtaining authorizations for oral chemotherapy, and ensuring timely follow-ups with imaging and lab work. The position offers a balance of clinical coordination and patient education within a supportive environment where your organizational skills and oncology experience truly make a difference. Expect to work alongside a collaborative team in a clinic setting, focusing on improving patient experiences through effective communication and symptom management.
