Job Description:
Join a facility specializing in long-term care for patients awaiting guardianship, placement, or insurance approval. This LVN/LPN role focuses on caring for residents in a setting that resembles a nursing home, where patient ratios are higher due to less acute needs. You'll work on a 20-21 bed unit dedicated to patients requiring custodial care, with no telemetry monitoring or blood product administration involved. The unit emphasizes teamwork, often pairing RNs, LPNs, and PCTs to provide comprehensive care under a team nursing model. Expect to interpret EKG strips, participate in floating across various campuses, and contribute to a supportive, collaborative environment with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
