Job Description:

This oncology chemo-certified registered nurse role offers the opportunity to work on a specialized Medical Surgical unit with a focus on hematology and oncology patients. You will be administering chemotherapy, managing blood transfusions, and responding to oncologic emergencies such as tumor lysis and cytokine release syndromes. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, giving you the chance to experience the quiet of overnight hours while serving a patient population dealing with conditions like lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma, sickle cell disease, and other hematologic or non-hem cancer diagnoses. Expect to float to related units as needed, with orientation including initial days and on-unit preceptorship. This assignment is ideal for nurses comfortable with telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, and emergency response protocols. Your expertise will contribute directly to delivering specialized care during this engaging and fast-paced contract.
