Job Description:

Join the healthcare team in Battle Creek, Michigan, as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract. You'll be working 36 hours per week, primarily night shifts of 12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30, with every other weekend on call. This assignment offers an engaging experience across various units, including ortho/neurovascular, cardio/pulmonary, and surgical specialties such as urology and hysterectomies. Expect to collaborate closely with diverse staff like LPNs and techs, and adapt to a flexible floating schedule to different Medical Surgical units as needed. This role provides an excellent opportunity to enhance your Med/Surg experience, working in a setting that values teamwork and versatility. Your days will be rewarding as you support a patient ratio typically around 1:5-6, with support for nights up to 7-8 patients when needed, always paired with an LPN for assistance.
