Job Description:

Join the team at Tampa General Behavioral Hospital for a rewarding RN role in the psychiatric unit. This 13-week contract involves working 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM on a unit with 36 beds focusing on adult mental health care. As a mental health RN, you'll utilize EPIC electronic health records to coordinate care and support patients with a variety of diagnoses, all while wearing navy scrubs and following the hospital’s dress code. This assignment offers a chance to hone your inpatient psychiatry skills in a busy, supportive environment, where familiarity with EPIC is essential. The unit maintains a patient ratio of 1:12, and you’ll be working with a dedicated team led by Supervisor Cynthia Rochon. No call is required, and weekend hours are included in your schedule, providing a balanced work experience that makes a difference in patients’ lives. If you have at least two years of inpatient psychiatric experience and are ready for your next challenging opportunity, this role awaits you. Just a heads up: crocs are not permitted on this unit—be sure to dress in navy blue scrubs instead.
