Job Description:

Join a specialized labor and delivery unit as a travel nurse in a facility known for high patient satisfaction and a breastfeeding-friendly environment. This role involves providing care to obstetric, postpartum, and antepartum patients, including those with complications like hypertension or diabetes. You will manage laboring patients, monitor fetal well-being, titrate drips such as Pitocin and Mag, and perform postpartum assessments. The shift is 12 hours overnight, offering a unique chance to experience a different rhythm of care. Emphasis on adhering to AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios and working closely with charge nurses ensures smooth operations.
