Job Description:

Join a respected medical-surgical stepdown unit for a 13-week travel nursing contract in Morgantown, WV. This assignment features 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on weekdays, with some weekends included. You'll be working in a facility where patient acuity varies, including Progressive Care and Tele patients, and managing a typical patient ratio of 1:4, flexing to 1:5 during emergencies. Your role will focus on IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and interpreting strips, utilizing Cerner electronic medical records. If you have 1.5-2+ years of recent stepdown or telemetry experience, along with current BCLS and ACLS certifications, this could be a perfect fit for your skills. An important aspect of this role is reading cardiac strips and managing varying patient conditions in a fast-paced environment.
