Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of perfusion professionals on a rewarding travel assignment in Overland Park, Kansas. This role involves working with adult patients using Spectrum Quantum pumps and centrifugal pump heads, primarily during cardiac surgeries such as CABG, MVR, AVR, and TAVR. You’ll be responsible for operating state-of-the-art equipment, performing procedures like ECMO initiation, and managing perfusion during complex cardiac cases. With an average pump time of two and a half hours and minimal ECMO duties, this assignment offers an engaging opportunity to apply your expertise in a well-supported environment. The role requires sharing call responsibilities, approximately two days a week, ensuring a balanced schedule. Experience with the Viper/Spectrum documentation system and a minimum of five years CCP experience are essential to thrive in this position.
