Job Description:

Join a dialysis nursing contract in Wausau, Wisconsin, where you'll be providing crucial inpatient and outpatient care across diverse settings. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, with a flexible schedule that adapts to patient needs—starting as early as 5:00 am or as late as 7:30 pm. You'll experience the dynamic rhythm of both inpatient units, with a patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:1 in ICU, and outpatient clinics with a ratio of 1:8. The assignment offers a mix of direct patient care and collaboration with dialysis techs, with opportunities to develop expertise in CRRT and Peritoneal Dialysis. Expect to work approximately 36 hours weekly, with a 13-week duration, and be part of a team committed to delivering high-quality renal care, balancing clinical skills with compassionate patient interaction. This position provides a unique chance to be involved in varied clinical scenarios, including float responsibilities and occasional on-call duties with appropriate compensation.
