Job Description:

Join this engaging 13-week contract as a MICU Registered Nurse in Columbus, Ohio, working the challenging and rewarding night shift. You'll be responsible for caring for adult and geriatric patients suffering from conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, ARDS, sepsis, and other complex diagnoses. Your role involves managing ventilators, performing line starts, and utilizing computerized charting systems including EPIC. The schedule includes 36 hours per week, with 12-hour overnight shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This assignment offers the chance to work with a diverse patient population that often requires advanced procedures like pulmonary artery catheter placement, chest tube management, and complex medication administration.
