Job Description:

This travel assignment is for an experienced Labor & Delivery RN ready to take on a flexible schedule that includes day, evening, and night shifts. You'll rotate between 7:00am to 7:30pm, 11:00am to 11:30pm, and 7:00pm to 7:30am shifts, with some weekends off, working in a 25-bed Labor & Delivery unit that also encompasses postpartum care, ORs, and recovery rooms. Your role will involve managing active labor cases, performing newborn care, and circulating during procedures—no patient care responsibilities as a tech or assistant. Expect to handle an average of 15 to 25 mothers and babies daily, with a patient load that varies depending on census and acuity. The facility uses EPIC for charting, and recent experience with labor & delivery, postpartum, and newborn care is essential. You will be the critical link during deliveries, epidurals, and magnesium administration, ensuring smooth and safe patient flow. This contract offers a chance to experience a vibrant unit with a rotating schedule that keeps the workday engaging and varied.
