Job Description:

Join a prestigious tertiary care hospital in Kansas City as a PCU Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, 24-bed Intermediate Unit that handles a wide range of medical and surgical cases, including TURPS, laparoscopy, eye and oral surgeries, diabetic teaching, and wound care. You’ll be working overnight 12-hour shifts from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am, and your shifts will include weekend work and occasional charge nurse responsibilities. This assignment is ideal for nurses with 1-2 years of telemetry experience who thrive in a dynamic environment and are comfortable floating within scope across various departments. Be prepared to interpret dysrhythmias, manage IV protocols, assist with respiratory care, and support patients with complex conditions like CVA, renal issues, and post-operative care.
