Job Description:

This contract opportunity involves working in the Interventional Radiology (IR) department, overseeing six labs including pre-op and phase 2 recovery areas. As part of the team, you'll perform procedures for cases like GI bleeds, strokes, biopsies, and central line placements. Your days will be filled with interpreting EKGs, managing drip titrations, and operating Phillips monitors via the EPIC EMR system. The role offers a chance to work with a dedicated team, including a Charge RN who manages cases and covers lunches, and an IR tech. Expect a mix of procedural work and supporting patient recovery within a busy IR suite. The schedule is four days per week, nine-hour shifts starting between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM, with weekend and holiday call responsibilities. Response times are expected within 30 minutes, and you'll wear surgical scrubs provided by the facility. This role is best suited for someone comfortable with high acuity procedures and working alongside a specialized team in a fast-paced environment.
