Job Description:

This travel assignment in Peoria, Illinois, offers an engaging role working in the Interventional Radiology (IR) department. You will be supporting procedures in a setting with 6 labs, including pre-op and phase 2 recovery areas, performing a variety of cases such as GI bleed, strokes, biopsies, and vascular interventions. The shift is scheduled during daytime hours, with 9-hour shifts four days a week, providing a balanced workweek. You'll interpret EKGs, manage drip titrations, and utilize EMR systems like EPIC with Phillips monitors, all while working closely with Charge RNs and IR techs. This role offers a chance to refine procedural skills in a fast-paced environment, with an emphasis on maintaining intraprocedural ratios and adhering to call requirements that include weeknights, weekends, and holidays. It’s a great opportunity to sharpen your technical expertise in vascular and interventional care without patient direct care responsibilities.
