Job Description:

This travel assignment places you in a bustling ICU setting in Klamath Falls, Oregon, where you'll be managing critically ill patients during 12-hour night shifts. You'll oversee a variety of diagnoses including STEMI, pneumonia, COVID, DKA, CVA, alcohol intoxication, and overdoses. The role involves advanced vent management, pressor titration, and working with equipment such as vents, BiPAP, CPAP, and HFNC. Prior experience with Impella or balloon pumps is a plus but not required. You’ll be working at a ratio typically around 1:2, sometimes 1:1, depending on patient acuity, with additional responsibilities like reading strips and verifying measurements in the hospital’s central monitoring unit. Be prepared for a fast-paced environment that challenges your critical thinking and technical skills, all while supporting a dedicated team of hospitalists, intensivists, and RTs.
