Job Description:

This 13-week travel RN position in Peoria offers the opportunity to work the night shift in a 63-bed Surgical Acute unit. You'll manage post-operative surgical patients, trauma cases, and overflow medical patients, performing dressing changes, wound care, IV therapy, and pain management. The role emphasizes critical thinking skills and a good bedside manner while working alongside a dedicated team. Experience with central lines, NG tubes, and TPN is beneficial, and familiarity with Heparin drips is essential. Enjoy the chance to refine your skills in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and professionalism, with support from charge RNs and a house supervisor available 24/7. Travel nurses will participate in unit-specific orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the role, including hands-on training with EPIC and other clinical systems.
