Job Description:

This 12-hour day ER nursing contract in Yuma offers the chance to work in a Level 3 trauma center with 52 beds and four trauma bays, treating approximately 200 patients daily. You will be responsible for managing a fast-paced emergency department, reading your own tele monitors, and collaborating with a team that includes ED techs, PCTs, RTs, and physician staff. The role requires recent ER trauma experience, proficiency with Epic EMR, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS. Expect to be scheduled ahead of time with shared floating to nearby facilities, with a focus on handling a wide variety of emergency cases, including STEMI and stroke patients. The setting is intense but rewarding, offering the opportunity to hone skills in a realistic trauma environment and work alongside experienced healthcare professionals who specialize solely in emergency services.
