Job Description:

Join the cardiovascular ICU team at OSF in Peoria for a 13-week travel contract, where your skills in EKG interpretation, medication titration, and advanced nursing care will shine. This assignment offers the opportunity to work in a 70-bed unit specializing in complex cardiac cases such as MI, CHF, A fib, lung surgeries, and pacemaker placements. Expect to manage chest tubes and assist with patients recovering from esophagectomies, with a focus on maintaining precise titration of drips like Cardizem and heparin. You’ll work 12-hour day shifts, with a flexible float policy to other medical units, and be supported by dedicated charge nurses, house supervisors, and PCTs, ensuring you can focus on delivering excellent patient care.
