Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Emergency Room team on a travel contract in Albany, Georgia, where you’ll be at the front lines managing a diverse range of cases from pediatrics to geriatrics. This unique opportunity involves working 12-hour day shifts in a busy ER with approximately 140 patient visits daily. You'll handle trauma, neuro, ortho, and other critical cases, often screening non-emergent patients to community care clinics. Your experience with Meditech 6.15 and prior trauma or large ER background will be crucial as you navigate a unit equipped with state-of-the-art monitoring, trauma bays, and behavioral health spaces. The role requires quick thinking, mastery of cardiac rhythms, and fluency with IV pumps like Alaris. During your shift, you'll collaborate with a dedicated team including mid-level providers, charge nurses, nurse aides, security, and physicians, maintaining focused attention on patient safety and efficient throughput. This assignment offers a chance to sharpen your skills amidst a lively, community-focused environment—an experience that’s as rewarding as it is challenging.
