Job Description:

Join us for a rewarding travel assignment in Peoria, Illinois, working on a dedicated neuroscience unit that handles a variety of complex cases such as stroke, spine surgery, seizures, and brain tumors. As a registered nurse, you'll operate primarily during 12-hour night shifts, providing exceptional care to neuro patients in a 54-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:4 to 1:6, supported by nurse aides and telemetry staff. This role offers the opportunity to apply your trauma and neuro unit experience, including titrating heparin drips and managing high-flow oxygen therapy for COVID-19 patients when needed. Expect to collaborate closely with charge nurses and house supervisors who ensure smooth shift operations, along with a strong team of patient care techs.
