Job Description:

Join our team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse in Aurora, Colorado, on a 13-week contract working 12-hour day shifts. This role offers the chance to experience a fast-paced surgical environment within a Level 1 Trauma Center, where you will assist in a variety of cases including General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastic surgeries. You will be primarily responsible for providing specialized perioperative nursing care, preparing patients and equipment, and supporting surgeons during procedures. The schedule may occasionally include float shifts starting as early as 6:45 AM or 8:45 AM, with the flexibility to work alongside a skilled team committed to delivering excellent surgical outcomes. This position demands at least 3 years of OR experience, familiarity with robotic procedures, and recent Epic system experience. Certification in AHA BLS and a Colorado RN license or compact license are required. The role involves working with a minimum of a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and may require floating between OR units to meet the facility’s needs. This assignment offers a competitive local bill rate of $96 per hour for candidates living within 75 miles of the facility.
