Job Description:

This contract opportunity places you on the active observation unit, where you'll be instrumental in monitoring patients and responding swiftly to changes in their condition. You'll work primarily on the 1S Observation unit but should be prepared to float to other Med-Surg areas such as Respiratory, Stroke, and Cardiac units, and potentially the Emergency Department if your skills align. The role combines technical expertise with quick thinking, and you'll get a chance to experience a variety of clinical scenarios. The shift is from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with every other weekend on call—so you'll have time to enjoy the local sights during your off days. Expect to work 36 hours weekly over a 13-week assignment, providing a fulfilling challenge for seasoned telemetry and step-down nurses.
