Job Description:

Join a specialized nursery unit as a registered nurse in Salem, Massachusetts, where you'll care for newborns in a Level 2B nursery setting. This role involves managing a variety of infant needs in a 25-bed unit that includes labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care areas. Your duties will focus on collaborating with a team to provide attentive care to both mothers and their babies, especially those requiring ongoing assessments like magnesium GTT or epidurals. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, with scheduled rotations and a night call, supporting a patient population that includes mothers and their infants from labor to postpartum. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a well-equipped unit utilizing EPIC electronic health records, with a focus on ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for new families.
