Job Description:

This contract position is perfect for registered nurses specializing in medical-surgical and post-operative care, particularly with experience handling GI procedures and wound management. You'll be working on a post-op surgical unit, focusing on patients recovering from procedures such as gastrectomies, esophagectomies, or bowel surgeries. Expect to assist with complex wound care, manage surgical drains, and support patients through their recovery process. The shift is a 12-hour daytime schedule, with an opportunity to be part of emergency response teams when needed—so flexibility and readiness are key. This role offers an engaging chance to hone specialized skills in a fast-paced setting while making meaningful contributions to patient recovery during the post-op phase.
