Job Description:

Join a challenging yet rewarding OR circulating nurse role at Children’s Wisconsin Milwaukee, where you'll be part of a dedicated team supporting a busy surgical unit with 14 operating rooms and 3 specialized procedure rooms. This contract involves 3 shifts of 12-hour days, working every weekend with some weekday orientation, providing a steady rhythm and plenty of opportunities to refine your surgical skills. You'll be handling a diverse range of cases including ENT, orthopedic, urology, general surgery, craniofacial, plastics, neuro, and ophthalmology, in a setting that values resilience and adaptability. The position emphasizes EPIC charting, requires a minimum of 3+ years OR experience, and mandates current BLS certification along with a WI or Compact RN license. This role offers the unique experience of working in a high-volume surgical environment and includes in-house on-call coverage, with the flexibility to stay overnight if needed.
