Job Description:

This ICU RN contract offers an engaging opportunity to work on the 2nd floor of St. Davids South Austin Medical Center in Austin, Texas. You'll be part of a dedicated team managing a 20-bed unit with a focus on critical care, including patients requiring hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator support, and complex procedures like central line placements and bronchoscopies. The role involves 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a target duration of 13 weeks. Expect to handle a variety of high-acuity cases requiring precise attention to cardiac rhythms and titratable drips, all while utilizing advanced equipment such as GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV pumps, and CRRT devices. This assignment is perfect for experienced RNs who excel in a fast-paced environment and enjoy collaborating with a skilled staff of 55 professionals in a supportive setting.
