Job Description:

This ICU Registered Nurse role places you in a high-acuity cardiology critical care unit within a heart transplant center. Your responsibilities include managing complex cases such as cardiogenic shock, post-cardiac arrest, pulmonary hypertension, and various cardiac procedures like pacemaker placements and TAVR. The unit emphasizes advanced equipment usage, including PA catheters and Impella devices, making this assignment ideal for experienced nurses comfortable with critical care technology. From stabilizing patients with STEMI or NSTEMI to assisting with special procedures, you will be central to patient recovery in this dynamic environment. Occasionally, you may be called upon to join emergency teams or relief shifts, so flexibility and readiness are essential.
