Job Description:

Join the team working on the West 4 Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) and Alternate Level of Care (ALC) Unit, which features 36 beds dedicated to ensuring comfortable and efficient care for elderly patients. This night shift position involves providing specialized nursing support during 12-hour overnight periods from 7 PM to 7 AM. You will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring elderly patients for any changes in condition, and collaborating with the healthcare team to promote smooth discharge planning and patient stability. The role offers flexibility with weekly hours—36 or 48 hours—and requires working at least one holiday and one weekend shift per week. Emphasizing adaptability, you may be scheduled for block shifts; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. Charting is performed electronically via EPIC, requiring accuracy and attention to detail. This assignment is an excellent opportunity for experienced nurses eager to make a difference in a setting focused on elderly care with a mix of routine and complex cases.
