Job Description:
Join a specialized surgical ICU team as a burn trauma RN in Indianapolis. This role involves providing care for adult and pediatric patients with severe burn injuries, including those in critical condition requiring invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and burn fluid resuscitation using the Parkland formula. You'll support high-acuity cases with a primary RN care model, including one-on-one support during burn trauma code admissions and postoperative patients. Expect hands-on involvement in procedures like initial debridement, dressing changes, and managing epidural pumps—your skills will make a real difference in a fast-paced, challenging setting. This assignment offers a unique chance to work in a demanding but rewarding environment that emphasizes technical expertise and precise patient management.
