Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse in a busy Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting where you'll be the go-to expert for adult patients with a wide array of diagnoses, including heart failure, pneumonia, sepsis, and arrhythmias. This contract offers a chance to work the night shift with 12-hour shifts, immersing you in a high-acuity environment that demands strong clinical judgment, expertise in cardiac monitoring, and the ability to adapt quickly. You'll be responsible for cardiac rhythm interpretation, managing vasoactive drips such as insulin, Heparin, and Levophed, and collaborating closely with an experienced team. This assignment stands out for its team nursing model, which pairs RNs with LPNs, fostering a cooperative atmosphere. Whether floating to other units or working alongside hospitalists and resource RNs, you'll gain diverse exposure in a supportive atmosphere that values professionalism and skill.
