Job Description:

Join a specialized Medical Surgical Acute Care unit in Peoria, Illinois, as a travel RN and experience the rhythm of 12-hour night shifts that bring a peaceful, after-hours calm to a busy hospital setting. You will be responsible for caring for gen med patients with various diagnoses, titrating drips such as Heparin, and managing patient needs in private and semi-private rooms. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team including charge RNs, house supervisors, PCTs, and in-house RTs, providing a comprehensive environment to refine your hospital skills. Expect to navigate patient ratios of 4-5:1 by day and 5-6:1 at night, performing tasks that include troubleshooting telemetry equipment, administering medications, and collaborating with unit leadership for optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise in IL RN licensure and BLS certification will support your success in this engaging, fast-paced setting that values experienced hospital RNs with at least one year of relevant experience.
