Job Description:

Join a team of dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) in a cardiac stepdown environment at Mercy Hospital South. This 13-week travel contract offers the chance to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) caring for post-op cardiac patients recovering from procedures like CABG and valve surgeries, thoracotomies, and managing respiratory failure and chest pain cases. If you enjoy a scheduled, structured night shift and like to keep your nights lively with meaningful work, this assignment is your perfect fit. You will monitor patient progress, administer medications, assist with procedures like chest tube management, and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role emphasizes teamwork and promoting a positive hospital culture, all while utilizing EPIC electronic medical records and following established protocols.
