Job Description:

Join us as a Respiratory Therapist specializing in pediatric critical care at Children's Wisconsin in Milwaukee. This role involves managing ventilator settings, performing intubations and extubations, and providing respiratory treatments for patients in the PICU and NICU. You'll work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend rotation and occasional holiday assignments. The setting includes a 24-bed pediatric cardiac ICU, a 24-bed pediatric medical ICU, and a 24-bed pediatric surgical ICU, along with a Level IV NICU. Expect to handle invasive and non-invasive ventilation devices like Servo I and u, LTVs, Astral and Trilogy, oscillators, and NAVA ventilation, along with managing trach patients. The role offers a mix of floor duties and advanced respiratory care, providing a unique chance to refine your pediatric critical care skills in a vibrant hospital environment.
