Job Description:

Join a prominent Short Term Acute Care Magnet & Teaching Hospital in St. Louis as a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN). This 13-week contract features 12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:30) three days a week, offering a solid opportunity to work within a Level I Trauma Center with 1,259 beds. You'll be caring for the adult and geriatric psychiatric population, including patients with co-morbid medical conditions that require a med-surg approach. The role involves medication administration, IV starts, blood glucose monitoring, Foley catheter management, and working on a locked inpatient unit. As a charge nurse when needed, you'll help ensure smooth unit operations. The hospital values clinical experience, and prior familiarity with Epic, psychiatric care, and adult geriatric patients is essential.
