Job Description:

Join our behavioral health nursing team at a reputable hospital in St. Louis, MO, for a 12-hour day shift position. This contract offers an engaging opportunity to work in a stimulating inpatient psychiatric setting, providing care to adult and older adult patients with diverse mental health conditions, including mood disorders, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and co-morbid medical issues. You'll be responsible for medication administration, IV therapy, blood glucose monitoring, wound care, and managing behavioral challenges such as aggression or agitation. The role emphasizes flexibility within your scope to support various units and demands clinical expertise in psychiatric and some medical care.
