Job Description:

Join us as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in a bustling short-term acute care hospital known for its busy neuro and neuromuscular unit. This 13-week contract offers the chance to work 12-hour night shifts, where you'll be responsible for managing a variety of neurological and neuromuscular patient diagnoses such as stroke, epilepsy, MS, and GBS. Your expertise with procedures like lumbar punctures, lumbar drains, and tracheostomies will be essential, and you'll work in an environment outfitted with equipment like bladder ultrasounds. While this role challenges your clinical skills, it also provides a unique opportunity to deepen your experience in a teaching hospital setting, with shifts set for focused, nights-only coverage. Expect to handle patient care around neurological disorders, all while navigating a fast-paced hospital floor.
