Job Description:

This CVICU Registered Nurse contract offers a chance to work in a fast-paced cardiac ICU environment with a focus on post-cardiac surgery patients, including those on ECMO, Swan-Ganz monitoring, and managing complex arrhythmias. Shifts are 12-hour nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with individual scheduling options and coverage for weekends and holidays as needed. The role involves interpreting EKGs, managing ventilated patients, overseeing vasoactive drips, and working with various cardiac patients including LVAD, Impella, and patients recovering from major vascular surgeries. The assignment emphasizes direct involvement in multimodal patient management, providing a stimulating experience for nurses who thrive on technical challenges and acute care.
