Job Description:

Join a specialized acute progressive care unit as a registered nurse, focusing on managing heavy trauma and GI post-operative patients. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts, providing critical care with a focus on trauma and surgical recovery. This role involves handling complex cases such as abdominal surgeries, trachs, and advanced wound management including wound vacs, surgical drains, and ostomies. Experience with TPN, lipids, and various vascular access devices like ports and PICCs is essential. If you have Level 1 trauma experience or are a first-time traveler with trauma expertise, this assignment offers a rewarding opportunity to apply your skills in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Expect to be immersed in a setting where your clinical judgment and hands-on skills directly impact patient outcomes.
