Job Description:

Join a respected academic medical center in Winston-Salem as a Respiratory Therapist specializing in adult critical care. This contract position offers a chance to work in a Level 1 Trauma Center where you'll be part of a skilled team managing patients with diagnoses such as post-surgical recovery, pneumonia, COPD, and asthma. The role involves 12-hour night shifts, providing a unique opportunity to experience the department's dynamic patient workload firsthand. Your expertise will help support both ICU and medical-surgical units, utilizing advanced equipment like Servo U, Servo Air, and Heated High Flow, while collaborating closely with lead therapists across shifts.
